About Fire Proofing Specialties
About
Firestopping is all we do.
Fire Proofing Specialties LLC is a specialty trade contractor — passive fire protection, full stop. We install and document the systems that keep fire and smoke compartmentalized long enough for occupants to get out and crews to get in.
How We Work
Three rules, no exceptions
01
Right System
We match the penetrating item, the assembly, and the fire rating to a listed UL system. When no tested system fits the condition, we back it with an engineering judgment — not a guess.
02
Right Install
Manufacturer-trained crews install within manufacturer conditions — substrate, temperature, and cure requirements — on every job, not just when it's convenient.
03
Right Paperwork
Every system gets a label, every install gets a photo, and every project gets a closeout binder. We support ASTM E2174 / E2393 inspections start to finish.
Safety & Training
Trained crews. OSHA-aware jobsites.
Our crews work OSHA-aware on every jobsite, coordinated with the general contractor's site safety plan — not around it. Every installer trains on the manufacturer systems they run, so material goes in within listed conditions the first time.
Backed by more than 20 years in commercial construction.
